NOMADS SA U13 Championship
Temperatures in the mid 30’s greeted the players on the final day of the NOMADS SA U13 Championship held at Nelspruit Golf Club. Although it was extremely hot, golf of a high standard was played. It was an eventful day with the lead changing hands on a number of occasions.
A missed 1.5 meter putt on the final green by Deon Germishuys resulted in a 3 way sudden-death play-off with Jayden Schaper and Christo Lamprecht. The 1st play-off hole , the 383 meter par 4, saw Christo fall out of contention but a superb 10 meter putt on the 2nd hole clinched it for Jayden. Jayden had the round of the day, a 1 over par 72.
The tournament saw some great golf being played with an abundance of talented junior golfers on display.
Jayden was the Winner of the Nomads SA Open U13 championships held in Nelspruit from 1st -3rd October over 54 hole stroke play.
US Kids World Qualifier
Winner US Kids World qualifier 2012, represented South Africa at Pinehurst, North Carolina 2nd to 5th August.
2012 US Kids World Golf
Placed 12th of 147 players at US Kids World Golf Championships in Pinehurst North Carolina. I posted rounds 73, 73, 69 to finish 1 under par at the event

Captained the Ekurhuleni team, achieved 4th place in IPT championships at Nomads SA Open U13 tournament
